Channel Islands

Due to some recent feedback from our Admin Review Team (ART) we are introducing maps that show species distribution on The Channel Islands. This is because:
  1. They are part of The UK.
  2. They are not currently on our Distribution Maps.
  3. They have some species endemic to them and found no-where else.
So look out for the changes on the wiki taking place in the new year.

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas from everyone at The British Wildlife Wiki and The WWC.

Recently we had a few complaints about the copyright issues which we have started to combat and also about having distribution maps and not including the Channel islands. So now we have made up 9 Channel islands maps that will start to be used in the new year.

Copyright and New Projects

So recently we have had trouble with copyright on some photos on the wiki. To resolve this we have deleted any photo that may cause another issue. We are also adding copyright info to all of our own photos on the wiki now. The Wiki Rules have been changed to coinside with this.

Tracks and Signs

In January we are starting Tracks and Signs. This is going to be a section of the wiki outlining tracks of animals and the signs they leave behind. To find out more email us: woodlandswildlifecouncil@yahoo.co.uk

If you would like to join in with anything on the wiki please email us to find out more and how you can help!
