Wiki and Website updates

The website will be under total refurbishment until the end of April when we open it again! We have loads of new pages and features ready to be launched when the site is reopened!!

We have noticed recently that not many people have been using the forum, please if you are a member post some new content, it is a new year and spring comes closer day by day so there must be something you can post.

If you want to become a member or have lost the link click here.

Also thanks to all those who have helped make our wiki what it is today! We are coming up to 400 articles and we are getting a wikia spotlight soon which is like a 'recommended' status!

As Spring comes closer, The WWC would like to wish you a wonderful year full of enjoyment and excitment!

With the weather getting warmer each day it seems like a good time to start preparing for the new Horticulture series we will be running soon. If you have any ideas on what to add please tell us by contacting us on woodlandswildlifecouncil@yahoo.co.uk

We would also like to thank the people that have currently helped out on our wiki.

Currently we are planning many new videos to be made over the next couple of weeks to be shown across our Youtube empire.

Spring is here!

There seems to be an endless future in sight.

Youtube
Now that spring is here, we can start filming for our British Wildlife Clips, although we do have a few episodes ready we want to upload a few in bulk at a time to keep people entertained, we dont want people waiting and asking for more. We plan to have 365 episodes, one for each day of the year!

Also the Geology series will be underway soon as we are just creating the opening sequence and then the videos will be ready to upload so watch this space.

Nature Reserves
A new nature reserve is opening up near us on the West Canvey Marsh this spring. It may be an hour walk away but it will be well worth it and we are hoping to film most of the British Wildlife Clips series here.

Hopefully it will be open soon whilst the weather is good and we shall be making many videos on the marsh as it will certainly be an intresting place to visit.

The British Wildlife Wiki
We currently have 375 articles which meets our target and i have done some math. We are hoping to get 75 articles done a month but it seems that our average is closer to 100 at 94. So thanks to all those who have helped make the wiki what it is today and don't forget your support is continually needed.

Website
The website is under complete refurbishment and at the moment it is going well! We have made many new pages and sorted out the Live Support addon so that will be ready when the website is back up, also we have srted out a search bar for the website as well!

The layout is going to be coded from our designs by a professional company so everything should look perfect and tie together well, if you would like to see anything on the site please let us know by emailing : thewwc@hotmail.co.uk (this is a temporary email whilst the site is down).

We wish you a Happy Spring!
